The double doors are made of zelkova wood and designed in the nijiri-guchi style (a small opening that obliges guests to bow when entering a tearoom).

The entranceway, set with hifumi-ishi (one-two-three stepping stones), leads to the commanding presence of the counter inside. The carved recessed walls and jet-black granite walls fill the space with a solemn atmosphere.
