”Shokudo Akari” offers particular dishes prepared with the finest seasonal ingredients.
Our menu changes daily depending on the meat, fish, vegetables, and other ingredients available, and we have a reputation among many customers for serving different dishes every time they come.

Posted on : 04/29/2025Shokudo Akari delivers exactly what you'd hope for in a great izakaya, a relaxed, welcoming vibe that makes it easy to settle in and forget the outside world for a while. The atmosphere is cozy and low-key, and the gentle hum of conversation that gives it a lively, yet not overwhelming energy.
The staff were friendly without being intrusive, and service was prompt but not rushed — you really feel like you’re encouraged to take your time and enjoy.
They’ve got a solid selection of drinks, especially if you’re into sake or Japanese beer. It felt authentic without trying too hard, which I really appreciated.

Posted on : 10/03/2023Tasted so good, it was like an upgraded version of izakaya with innovative dishes and friendly atmosphere, we ran into a japanese lady who helped us for the translation, just like a nice surprise that we would expected in a local izakaya!
