About Oudon Yomogi
A restaurant specializing in small plates and udon, created by the proprietress of the kaiseki restaurant Oryori Miyamoto.
The star of the menu is the udon—house‑made noodles served in a clear, refined ichiban‑dashi with the elegance of a kaiseki soup course. Guests can savor sake accompaniments while enjoying the depth of Osaka’s dashi culture, then finish with udon in the stylish tradition known as udon‑mae. The course structure is based on the framework of traditional kaiseki okimari menus, incorporating seasonal specialty dishes that allow guests to enjoy selected elements of kaiseki as individual courses within the overall progression.
Set within a serene space featuring a white‑wood counter and bamboo accents, the restaurant offers the craftsmanship of a refined kappo in a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. Each dish is prepared with care to minimize waste and highlight the natural character of the ingredients, while the thoughtful décor and choice of tableware reflect a deep spirit of hospitality—creating a calm and indulgent dining experience.
