Asakusa Hirayama （浅草 ひら山）

Asakusa Hirayama, featured in the Michelin Guide’s Bib Gourmand, serves 100% buckwheat soba noodles, hand-crafted without any binding agents and made from house-milled buckwheat. The noodles are prepared with care for both lunch and dinner, using carefully selected buckwheat grains harvested at their seasonal peak.

At times, they even begin with sowing the seeds themselves, ensuring a commitment to freshness at every stage—freshly hulled, freshly milled, and freshly made. The soba is distinguished by its firm bite and clean, sharp finish, while retaining an exceptionally smooth texture. With no compromise in the cooking method or the soba dipping sauce, the rich aroma and natural flavor of the buckwheat are brought out to their fullest.

Beyond soba, the restaurant offers a wide variety of seasonal dishes. Tempura and daily specials highlight the bounty of the season, including Kanazawa’s Kaga lotus root and Kaga vegetables, all of which pair beautifully with their meticulously curated sake list.

Inside, the softly glowing lights create a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Artisan-crafted walnut slab tables and a gently rounded counter add warmth and elegance to the space, making it both refined and comforting.

• Arrival time:

  ・Please arrive at your reserved time to ensure a timely start of your meal. If you do not contact us and exceed your reservation time, it will be automatically canceled.

  ・Please note that if not all members of your party have arrived within 15 minutes of your reservation time, any late-arriving guests may be treated as a cancellation.

  ・Even if your entire party has not yet arrived, we will begin service at the reserved time.
