About OMOTESANDO UKAI-TEI
On the avenue of zelkova trees leading to Meiji Jingu Shrine, in a district where timeless tradition meets the forefront of global fashion, OMOTESANDO UKAI-TEI nestles quietly. Beyond its doors lies a special space where Japanese and Western aesthetics converge—brought to life through the preserved architecture of a 150-year-old Kanazawa merchant’s residence.
The profound beauty of Japanese architecture, expressed in its stately beams and pillars, harmonizes with delicate Western art and craftsmanship, including works by René Lalique, creating an elegant and distinctive world. From the windows, a sweeping panorama unfolds, overlooking Omotesando and Shinjuku. By night, a glittering cityscape stretches out before you, inviting guests into a luxurious experience akin to dining in a celestial garden.
At the heart of this stage is teppanyaki, presented in a chef’s table style right before your eyes. The finest Kuroge Wagyu—our “Ukai Selected Beef”—together with fresh seafood sourced from across the globe, are transformed into sublime dishes, accompanied by tantalizing aromas and sounds, in a live performance that engages all five senses.
Beyond a corridor adorned with art, an elegant dessert lounge awaits—another surprise designed for guests to savor the lingering afterglow of their meal.
To spend a blissful moment, savoring cuisine woven from the finest ingredients and masterful skill, in a space alive with authentic architectural beauty—OMOTESANDO UKAI-TEI promises an unforgettable experience, a story to be cherished by every guest who visits.
