About Taian
We will be closed from April 6 to April 8 (Japan time) and will not be able to respond to requests. Thank you for your understanding.
It is a renowned Japanese restaurant with three consecutive Michelin stars in Osaka.
The monthly omakase course features high-level ingredients from France and other countries, and presents a variety of exquisite dishes that respect the traditions of Japanese cuisine while also incorporating flexible ideas.
They also pay attention to the dishes and glasses that enhance the food and drinks, especially the sake cups, which are the owner’s favorite items collected from all over Japan, such as Bizen ware, Shigaraki ware, and cut glass.
They offer a variety of sake and shochu that match well with food, and we also suggest wine as an excellent partner for Japanese cuisine. "Please enjoy the perfect pairing of Japanese cuisine and wine " - (Taian chefs)
They invite you to enjoy a relaxed yet outstanding dining experience.

Posted on : 12/27/2024Amazing taste, fresh ingredients, wonderful experience! Definitely worth Michelin 3 stars with this price. Meanwhile, they are very thoughtful to prepare a “mock” cake with candle to surprise us. This is something that we both greatly appreciated!Ninii

Posted on : 10/18/2024Amazingly crafted and took us on an emotional food journey, each dish is carefully and skillfully crafted and leaves you craving more while still being satisfied. The absolute highlight out of all the dishes was the soup, it was deep and complex while being light and delicate. I cannot recommend this place enough, quite easily one of the best meals I have ever had! They also made my partners birthday special which was greatly appreciated!Robert
Posted on : 09/13/2024All dishes were eloquent, refined and most importantly delicious, a quiet and high end omakase, able to enjoy food equally beautiful and fresh. Highly recommend the sake and wine pairings as the elevate the dishes and changes the flavors of each course intricately, creating a whole new experience everytime. The service was second to none, mr and Mrs Takahata are a comfortable presence to all, helpful with every course, and very attentive to all customers including a personal send off after you have finished eating. Overall a wonderful experience with delicious food.Mindy
Posted on : 09/09/2024The food variety was great. The last course they gave with rice and potato and pickled items were OK. Everything else was delicious! The atmosphere was quiet and the decor was simple. The sake pairing was amazing!David M.
