Posted on : 02/07/2025The whole meal was absolutely wonderful. From the beginning to the end. All the meats were grilled to perfection highlighting their original flavours. However what we really loved was the creativity behind the non grilled dishes as well. This was my first time trying raw chicken and it was definitely not what I was expecting. I realized raw chicken doesn't really exude a lot of flavour but the way it was presented really allowed me to taste its "rawness". When we were asked if there were other dishes we wanted we asked for a grilled liver. The chef was so accommodating and grilled liver for us specially. It was the best liver I've ever had, I could still remember the taste and the texture of it. I will definitely be visiting again when I'm back in Kyoto.Hoi Pan

Posted on : 04/10/2024Absolutely spectacular yakitori. I was shocked that I quite enjoyed the raw chicken sashimi, but everything else was every bit as sensational as I could have imagined. Chef and his team were wonderful, engaging, and generous. It’s in the basement of the building with only displays in Japanese, so there was a little puzzle solving in finding the place.
