Hiiragitei （ひいらぎ亭）

"Hiiragi-tei" is based on the concept of "beauty, space, and people". They offer obanzai(Kyoto-style home-cooked dishes) with the same taste as in the past, as well as carefully selected Tankai chicken, along with seasonal fish and vegetables.

Since 1970, after 46 years in Kyoto's Kiyamachi, the restaurant relocated in 2017 near Chionin-mae. While "Hiiragitei" continues to serve Kyoto's distinctive obanzai, seasonable sashimi, grilled and fried delicacies, they now have newly offered local chicken dishes that young boss is particular about.

Believing that genuine satisfaction comes from the combination of delicious food, a pleasant ambiance, and the warmth of good company, they cherish traditions while seeking new encounters and flavors.

  If you have any specific food allergies or ingredients you cannot consume, please inform us in advance. Unfortunately, we cannot accept reservations if there are ingredients that you cannot eat within a wide range.

• Arrival time:

  Please arrive 5 minutes before your reserved time to ensure a timely start of your meal. If you do not contact us and exceed your reservation time, it will be automatically canceled.

• Dress Code:

  Dress code is smart casual (Please refrain from wearing T-shirts, shorts, and sandals when you visit.)

• Children:

  Babies are also allowed. Children who do not eat the course must order a la carte.

• Others:

  We kindly ask for your consideration regarding excessive perfume or fabric softener fragrances.
