“Cantonese En” offers a new gastronomic experience in a refined Tokyo setting, guided by the theme of “beauty and health.” The kitchen is led by Executive Chef Makoto Oishi, who was mentored by Kenichi Takase, a leading figure in Japan’s Cantonese cuisine scene. Building on the solid techniques and philosophy inherited from his mentor, Chef Oishi infuses his own sensibility into each dish, elevating the age-old concept of “food as medicine” into a modern expression.
A standout feature is the health-conscious composition centered on an abundance of vegetables. With a focus on anti-aging and detox benefits, the cuisine overturns conventional images of Chinese food, offering a light and refreshing finish. Vegan courses are also available, promising nourishing flavors that support well-being from within.
The interior harmoniously blends modern and elegant design, with round tables well suited for business gatherings. Like the gentle wish embodied in the name “En” (Swallow), warm hospitality fills the space. Enjoy a graceful and relaxing moment paired with carefully selected Chinese teas and sommelier-chosen wines.
