ESPICE is a modern French restaurant where creativity and playful spirit come alive, led by Chef Emi, who refined his craft at Michelin three-star restaurants including Auberge du Vieux Puits, Arpège, and Chez Michel in Paris and southern France.
Just a short walk from Sannomiya Station, ESPICE sits in a tranquil location and delicately expresses the essence of Hyogo’s delicacy through a modern lens. With seasonal vegetables from Kobe, and seafood sourced abundantly from Awaji Island, Akashi, and Kasumi Port—drawing from both the Seto Inland Sea and Sea of Japan—our Mediterranean-inspired modern French cuisine highlights the true character of every ingredient.
