In this elegant setting, designated as a Historic Scenic Building by the City of Kyoto, Sanmikouan welcomes you.

The restaurant is renowned for two signature offerings: the homemade Juwari Soba (100% buckwheat soba), showcasing the artisan’s skill, and the soul-soothing Kamonabe (duck hot pot).

For our soba, we carefully select domestic buckwheat and stone-mill it into flour in-house every morning. We invite you to savor the robust flavor and refreshing finish unique to 100% buckwheat noodles made with freshly milled flour.

Before your meal, we encourage you to enjoy the refined tradition of Soba-mae. To accompany our special appetizers, we offer perfectly chilled sake as well as natural wines thoughtfully selected by our sommelier to harmonize with your course. Leisurely sipping your drink is a pleasure in itself.

If a request for such accommodation is indicated at the time of booking, the reservation will be canceled at the guest’s responsibility. In addition, if you arrive at the restaurant, we will have no choice but to refuse entry. Please also understand that in such cases no refund will be issued, and we cannot be held responsible for any inconvenience caused by the cancellation.
