About Shunten Shin
"Shunten Shin" is a restaurant run by the owner who seeks elegant aromas and excellent oil removal in tempura.
The tempura batter used is thin, and the frying oil primarily consists of freshly pressed sesame oil. The menu incorporates locally sourced seafood and vegetables to create a seasonal experience.
Ingredients such as conger eel and new onions are sourced from Awaji Island, the owner's hometown. The finishing dish menu includes several options, such as tendon (tempura rice bowl) and tenbara (cooked rice with added mixed-vegetable tempura).
A popular specialty is the omakase course featuring a rice bowl topped with raw sea urchin on egg yolk tempura.

Posted on : 05/25/2024The restaurant was managed by the Chef himself. The tempura was prepared in Kansai style with a lot of vegetables which suited my family members. The food was very delicious and the atmosphere was very good. Love to visit this restaurant again if possible. A most visited restaurant in Osaka if you are a tempura fans!Andy Lim
Posted on : 03/27/2024Excellent omikase tempura experience, friendly and accommodating chef. I would certainly recommend it and definitely come again. Although best experienced if you speak Japanese or have an interpreter in your party.Jenny JUVASVAT

The ambiance is incredibly comfortable and inviting, creating a homey dining experience. The flavors are delightful and impeccably fresh. Highly recommended!
