L’aparté is run by chef‑owner Anthony Bacle, a native of France’s Loire region. The restaurant’s name, meaning “confidential conversation” in French, reflects its aim to create a warm, inviting space where conversation flows naturally.
The chef, who trained at Michelin‑starred restaurants in Paris, Osaka, and New York, spent 11 years honing his craft under Alain Ducasse. Using carefully selected ingredients sourced from across Japan, the restaurant offers a course menu that blends the traditions of French cuisine with techniques from around the world. Attention to detail is evident in every element, from the homemade bread to the patisserie.
Seating options include lively kitchen‑counter seats, counter seats overlooking a small garden, and table seating by the fireplace.
