Chef Nagami was very impressive. He was able to prepare immaculate dishes in front of our eyes. He also explained every dish to us in both English and Japanese, which was helpful because we didn’t understand Japanese. The taste of the dishes were perfect, and was extremely satisfactory.

Asakusa Nagami offered an unforgettable omakase lunch experience that tantalized the senses and warmed the heart. From the moment I stepped through the doors, I was greeted with warm smiles and a welcoming atmosphere that set the tone for a delightful culinary journey.

Chef is truly a master of his craft. His passion for Japanese cuisine is evident in every exquisite dish he prepares. With each course, he shares not only his exceptional culinary skills but also a piece of his heart. The presentation was nothing short of artful, with meticulous attention to detail that elevated the dining experience.

The menu was a harmony of flavors, with each dish offering a unique and memorable taste. The sushi was divine, crafted with the freshest ingredients that melted in the mouth. Special highlights included the succulent toro nigiri and the delicate hand-rolled temaki, both of which were perfectly balanced and bursting with flavor.

Beyond the delectable food, what truly set Asakusa Nagami apart was the chef’s genuine warmth and hospitality. Chef took the time to interact with each guest, sharing stories and insights about the dishes, enhancing the entire meal with his personal touch.

Overall, my lunch at Asakusa Nagami was not only a feast for the palate but also an enriching experience for the soul. For those seeking an authentic and memorable omakase experience in Tokyo, this hidden gem is a must-visit.

Amazing dinner! We have had six such meals I. 10 days. They all have been above expectations but this was our favorite. A very talented chef making beautiful displays of food. Most importantly, the food tasted fantastic. For those who like to have experience that ranges from subtle to intense, this is a place to visit. Strongly recommend! Left feeling perfectly, not too full and feeling like everything was wonderfully healthy.

My goodness, what a perfect experience. This is our 6th meal of this sort in 10 days. This was the best, at least so far. I really feel we experienced true Kaiseke tonight. The dashi test was certainly exceptionally passed. This is an understated and humble chef who creates beautiful, not flashy, food presentation. Most importantly, the taste is outstanding. It is not like our food in Japan has been ever even down to average, but tonight really did standout. We really appreciated that we did not leave feeling unhealthy or too full either. We felt it was just perfect. If you seek a medley of the subtle to the intense, please try. I hope your visit matches our evening. I hope this chef succeeds in this newish venture.

The ambiance of the restaurant was delightful, reminiscent of a traditional Japanese kaiseki cuisine restaurant. Each dish had a gentle flavor, and the dishes allowed me to feel the essence of Japan, which was truly wonderful. Every dish paired exceptionally well with the sake, enhancing the overall dining experience.
