“NELU KORAIBASHI” is a master of multi‑course dining that remains rooted in classic French technique while drawing out the fullest expression of rare and distinctive ingredients. Each plate shifts in character as the meal progresses—layered sauces that build depth of umami, precise heat that releases aroma, and deliberate contrasts in temperature and texture create a rhythm that makes every bite heighten anticipation for the next.

The stage is the former Osaka Kyoiku Seimei Insurance Building, designed by Kingo Tatsuno. More than 110 years after its completion, this Western‑style architectural landmark was reborn as a restaurant in April 2025. Its imposing façade, dignified interiors, and preserved period details resonate beautifully with the tension and elegance of the cuisine.

For dinner, the restaurant offers “NELU × Wine Pairing,” while lunch features “Saison × Wine Pairing.” The sommelier curates each glass with an eye toward aromatic peak, balance, and the length of the finish, ensuring a pairing that evolves seamlessly with the progression of the course.

The dining room includes nine tables for parties of two to four, along with three private rooms—ideal for anniversaries, business entertainment, and formal gatherings. Private events for up to 60 guests can also be accommodated, with a projector and microphone available. In this space where architecture and cuisine converse, the evening deepens quietly and beautifully.

  Please arrive 5 minutes before your reservation time so we can begin your meal on schedule.

  If we are unable to reach you after 30 minutes past your reservation time, we may have no choice but to treat it as a cancellation.

  Dress code is smart casual (Please refrain from wearing T-shirts, shorts, and sandals when you visit.)

  Children are allowed in private rooms only.

  We kindly ask for your consideration regarding excessive perfume or fabric softener fragrances.
