About Yakiniku Onuki
The main restaurant is a long-established yakiniku restaurant in Shizuoka, and has been ranked among the 100 best restaurants on Tabelog(the largest publisher of restaurant reviews in Japan) for five consecutive years.
The restaurant is proud of its “Tare Yakiniku” (grilled meat with sauce), which is made from Japanese black beef that has inherited the “excellent sauce” from the main restaurant, and is so tender that it melts in your mouth.
The beef tongue is also superb. The thickly cut beef tongue is very difficult to grill, so the waiter grills it and serves it to you.
Enjoy a blissful moment with wine that pairs well with the meat.

The owner cooked the meal at the table for us, and despite the language barrier, injected humor and detail in the conversation. The cuts of the meat and flavor were outstanding! The owner, having found out it was our son's birthday, introduced the menu to us by shaping the meat into a "cake" complete with a lit sparkler and lettering using the seasoning sauce (the seasoning was amazing!)! We highly recommend Yakiniku Onuki. If I lived in Japan, I would probably live inside the restaurant!Mark

The taste of the meat dishes was simply outstanding, leaving a lasting impression on my taste buds. Despite the language barrier, the staff managed to infuse some humor into our interactions, adding to the charm of the dining experience. I definitely plan to return and will enthusiastically recommend this restaurant to friends and family.
