Though simple, the dishes exude a meticulous attention to detail achieved through careful preparation, allowing the flavors of seasonal ingredients to burst forth vividly, pleasing the eyes, taste buds, and nose.

"Tozentei" where the cheerful Watanabe family welcomes you, has the son at the helm of the kitchen, supported by the skilled father, the proprietor, while the mother takes care of the service.

By employing these straightforward cooking methods inherent to Japanese and Kyoto cuisine, the essence of the ingredients remains paramount, ensuring their flavors are never compromised.

Personally visiting the market each morning, the proprietor, with over three decades of experience, selects ingredients with a discerning eye, opting for those of the highest quality and most vibrant flavors and colors.
