About Kodaiji Jugyuan
Located in Kodaiji, Kyoto—a town rich in history and atmosphere—"Kodaiji Jugyuan" is a Japanese restaurant that opened in September 2017 as the first ryotei (a high-end traditional Japanese restaurant) created by Hiramatsu.
The expansive site, approximately 6,690 m², features a sukiya-style building constructed in 1908 by master craftsmen Asajiro Kosaka and Sutejiro Kitamura, along with a garden designed by the gardener Jihei Ogawa VII. From the first floor, you can view the garden, which transforms with the seasons, and from the guest rooms on the second floor, you can enjoy a panoramic view of Kyoto's cityscape, experiencing the four seasons from every corner of the building.
Immerse yourself in this beautiful setting and experience the essence of ryotei culture with all your senses.
