About Hachikan
Enjoy a luxurious time and exquisite cuisine made from seasonal ingredients in the serene village of Ohara, nestled in Rakuhoku (northern Kyoto area), which boasts pristine air, majestic mountains, and crystal-clear water.
The main building, a 250-year-old traditional thatched-roof farmhouse, has been renovated to serve as the Hachikan private villa. Here, you can relax and enjoy a leisurely time in a nostalgic Japanese atmosphere, complete with a hearth and an old-fashioned cooking stove.
We invite you to indulge in kaiseki cuisine crafted from ingredients sourced from the local area of Ohara and carefully selected from across Japan.
