About Shimmonzen Yonemura
Chef Yonemura's creative use of seasonal ingredients is a culinary masterpiece that cannot be categorized as either French or Japanese cuisine, and each dish is sure to surprise and impress.
You can enjoy innovative, genre-defying cuisine that has wowed many food connoisseurs.
Located in front of the gate of Chion-in Temple in Higashiyama, Kyoto, the restaurant has the elegant appearance of a traditional Kyoto townhouse. The stylish interior, tastefully furnished, offers counter seats and sofa seats where you can enjoy a live dining experience right in front of the kitchen on the first floor, and table seats on the second floor, all of which provide a relaxing atmosphere.
Please enjoy the encounter of seasonal ingredients with the art of cooking, and the wonderful combination of Japanese and Western techniques in the course.
