About
Nihonryori Yoshiatsu features a striking counter crafted from a single slab of ginkgo wood, creating an atmosphere where tradition and modernity coexist in harmony. The warm yet serene interior offers a calm and composed setting, enhanced by the live experience of watching each dish come together before your eyes. It is a space cherished by couples, business guests, and international visitors seeking to appreciate Japanese cuisine at a relaxed pace.
Chef Yoshiatsu Fukushima refined his craft at kappo and hot pot restaurants in Tokyo, later serving as head chef across multiple culinary genres. With a deep respect for Japanese food culture, he presents seasonal tasting courses centered on carefully selected domestic ingredients, showcasing seafood and vegetables at their peak. While honoring the foundations of Japanese cuisine, his dishes incorporate a contemporary sensibility, resulting in creations that balance tradition with fresh inspiration. Seasonal delicacies such as winter crab and fugu (pufferfish), spring mountain vegetables, and other expressions of Japan’s four seasons appear throughout the year, while the seasonal clay pot rice—its contents changing with each season—is one of the restaurant’s signature offerings.
A thoughtfully curated selection of sake and wine is also available, with pairing recommendations tailored to each course. The restaurant offers an intimate layout of seven counter seats and one table, allowing guests to enjoy a relaxed and unhurried dining experience in a spacious setting.
Immerse yourself in the unique seasonal world of Nihonryori Yoshiatsu.
