TAIMATSU （松明 TAIMATSU）

This restaurant opened in 2019 in Kitashinchi, Osaka, as a sister restaurant of the one-Michelin-starred “Yakitori Ichimatsu,” and has since relocated to Kagurazaka, Tokyo.

We serve only a yakitori course, designed to let guests savor the full flavor of an entire Hinai Jidori chicken. Each skewer is carefully grilled with meticulous attention to the position of the charcoal, the distance from the flame, and the invisible internal temperature of the meat.

Guided by the spirit of “learning from the past to create the new,” we carry forward the techniques of Ichimatsu while pursuing a new style of yakitori in the Taimatsu way.

Guests are invited to enjoy a full course of Hinai Jidori chicken, showcasing the pure essence of the ingredients, in a refined and stylish setting.

  If you have any specific food allergies or ingredients you cannot consume, please inform us in advance. If you have dietary restrictions that affect two or more dishes in the course, or if there are many ingredients you cannot eat, we are unable to accept your reservation.

• Arrival time:

  Please arrive 5 minutes before your reserved time to ensure a timely start of your meal. If you do not contact us and exceed your reservation time, it will be automatically canceled.

  Service for all guests begins promptly at the reserved time. If you arrive late or leave early, we may not be able to serve the full course. We kindly ask that you allow sufficient time to arrive.

  Dress code is smart casual (Please refrain from wearing T-shirts, shorts, and sandals when you visit.)

• Children:

  Only those who can enjoy the same course as adults are allowed
