Nestled in the tranquil residential streets of Nishi-Azabu, Tokyo, AZUR et MASA UEKI is an intimate fine dining destination created by visionary French chef Masahito Ueki. Opened in March 2017, the restaurant was born from Chef Ueki’s desire to delve into the richness of Japanese history and culture, and to express the beauty of each season through his cuisine. Guided by the philosophy of Wakon Yōsai—Japanese spirit with Western techniques—he elevates the finest ingredients from across Japan into refined French creations. Each dish captures the changing seasons and the blessings of the land, imbued with the chef’s aesthetic sensibility and unwavering pursuit of excellence.

The wine program is equally distinguished, with a focus on Champagne and Burgundy complemented by a curated selection from around the world. Seasonal pairings are thoughtfully composed to harmonize with each dish, deepening the experience of gastronomy as an art form.

Guests are welcomed through an entrance lounge inspired by the arches of a wine cave, bathed in the restaurant’s signature azure tones. The main dining room unfolds with plush carpeting, stone-clad walls, antique wooden pillars, and an eco-friendly fireplace, creating a modern yet timeless atmosphere. Generously spaced tables, an open kitchen, and two private dining rooms provide an environment of both elegance and comfort.

AZUR et MASA UEKI is dedicated to honoring Japan’s traditions, its producers, and the artisans who craft its tableware, while embracing a sustainable approach to fine dining. Under Chef Ueki’s guiding theme, Respect Japan, the restaurant seeks to share the beauty and spirit of the country with guests from around the world. • Dietary restrictions / Allergies:

  If you have any specific food allergies or ingredients you cannot consume, please inform us in advance. Unfortunately, we cannot accept reservations if there are ingredients that you cannot eat within a wide range.

• Arrival time:

  Please arrive 5 minutes before your reserved time to ensure a timely start of your meal. If you are more than 10 minutes late without notice, your reservation will be automatically cancelled.

• Dress Code:

  Dress code is smart casual (Please refrain from wearing T-shirts, shorts, and sandals when you visit.)

• Children:

  ・Guests aged 12 and above, and able to enjoy the course meal.

  ・Children under the age of 12 will be accommodated only in a private room. A private room fee of 18,150 JPY (tax and service charge included) will apply. (Maximum capacity: 8 guests)

  ・When visiting with children under 12, please ensure that only guests aged 12 and above select a course menu. In addition, kindly indicate the following two details in the “Special Requests” section:
