About Azabudai Nakamura
Exquisite Japanese Cuisine in Azabudai
After 14 years as "Kagurazaka Teppanyaki Nakamura," a beloved establishment in Kagurazaka, the restaurant relocated to Azabudai in 2024 under its new name, Azabudai Nakamura, marking a fresh start in an even more refined setting.
At Azabudai Nakamura, we use carefully selected seasonal ingredients to highlight their natural flavors to the fullest. With trusted relationships with producers, we source premium Kobe beef and seafood, and prepare them using binchotan charcoal ovens and custom-designed iron griddles. Our method, relying solely on the moisture and aroma of the ingredients without excess oil or seasoning, delivers dishes with a lightness reminiscent of steamed cuisine.
Courses are thoughtfully crafted, resembling the elegance of a traditional Japanese kaiseki meal, with each dish—from appetizer to main—telling its own story. The signature beef and seafood dishes are a testament to the fusion of masterful techniques and quality ingredients, leaving a lasting impression.
The dining counter, made from 150-year-old hinoki cypress, allows guests to appreciate the chef's meticulous craftsmanship up close, while the private rooms, surrounded by the warmth of over 1,200-year-old Yakusugi cedar, offer a relaxed and special atmosphere for unwinding.
At Azabudai Nakamura, where technique, ingredients, and ambiance come together in harmony, savor the pinnacle of Japanese cuisine with Kobe beef taking center stage.
