Stephen Nguyen5.0Posted on :11/19/2024I had a memorable experience at this restaurant because there were 2 staff members who spoke fluent english. They helped me understand the dishes that were served, as well as the omakase curation.
Two specific moments that made an impact on my experience: chef offered me an opportunity for a sake pairing experience and also had ushered me to the exit.
If I didn't have the sake pairing, my experience would not be as elevated. She was mindful with the pace I was going with the pairing and the times she checked up on me. I really appreciated that effort.
This is one of my top omakase experiences. -

Tim and Lily4.8Posted on :03/08/2025Beautiful restaurant with fantastic food. I ordered the seafood course while my boyfriend ordered the beef wagyu course. Food was delicious and I especially loved their special sea bream with rice which came with tea that you pour over the rice. Every time a new course came out both me and my boyfriend’s eyes were wide with excitement. Chef was amazing and although he didn’t speak English, he was still able to explain to us what each dish was and what the ingredients were using Google Translate. At the end, we were given some take home onigiris with the same sea bream that I really enjoyed earlier in the meal. Overall fantastic meal, with fantastic presentation, and in an absolutely beautiful restaurant. Cannot recommend this place enough.
-
Stephen Nguyen4.3Posted on :11/19/2024Restaurant had some touches that elevated my dining experience: offering to store my backpack, letting me select cup from which I would be drinking from, letting me take home extra onigiri Chef had prepared.
Although Chef went above and beyond with translation via mobile phones, it was a bit of a distraction. This was a hard one because they went out of their way to educate me on each dish, but seeing 2 phones on the table by my dishes took some attention from observing the plating.
I think the timing of when the dishes got served to me felt rushed. I wasn't sure if there were understaffed because the way they moved about the space felt unorganized. However, I did appreciate that the Chef had asked me about their pacing.
Above all, the Chef was kind and communicative. He, himself ushered me to the exit door and up the stairs. Kindness from anyone is always exceptional to me.
