Owner and Sushi Chef, Masashi Yamaguchi

Born in Tokyo in 1981.

After training at the sushi restaurant of The Ritz-Carlton Tokyo and a Michelin two-starred sushi establishment, he played a pivotal role as the head chef in the launch of "Sushi Wakon" at the Four Seasons Hotel Kyoto, earning a Michelin one-star rating.

Subsequently, he supported the opening of "Sushi Wakon" at The Peninsula Tokyo as the head chef. In June 2020, he established his own restaurant, "Sushi Masashi," in Kita-Aoyama.

If you have any difficulty finding the location, please feel free to call us, and we will gladly assist you. Also, we kindly request that you refrain from entering neighboring establishments.

  To fully appreciate the delicate world of sushi at Sushi Masashi, we kindly ask that you refrain from wearing strong fragrances such as perfume.

  Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate individuals with an inability to consume raw ingredients.

  We kindly decline all birthday cakes. However, we may be able to accommodate your request if you would like to place a candle on your last piece of tamagoyaki (Japanese rolled omelet). Please indicate this in the remarks section of your order.
