At "Seiju," located near Tsukiji Hongan-ji, you can enjoy a tempura course that reflects the seasons in a serene setting.

The tempura is prepared with fresh ingredients sourced every morning from Tsukiji Market. The delicate batter crumbles in your mouth, releasing the natural sweetness of the ingredients.

In particular, the kuruma prawn is served in two styles. The first is fried thoroughly at a precise heat to seal its flavor into the batter. The second highlights its freshness by leaving the center slightly rare. It is astonishing how the same ingredient can offer such distinct charms.

The tempura is fried in 100% pure white sesame oil (taihaku), pressed from raw seeds, with the oil replaced for each guest to ensure freshness.

In a calm, tea-room-like space imbued with the dignified presence of natural earthen walls, you can savor supreme tempura amidst a pleasant sense of anticipation.

  If you have any specific food allergies or ingredients you cannot consume, please inform us in advance. Unfortunately, we cannot accept reservations if there are ingredients that you cannot eat within a wide range.

• Arrival time:

  Please arrive 5 minutes before your reserved time to ensure a timely start of your meal. If you exceed your reservation time by over 30 minutes, it will be automatically canceled.

• Dress Code:

  Dress code is smart casual (Please refrain from wearing T-shirts, shorts, and sandals when you visit.)

• Children:

  Guests aged 12 and above, and able to enjoy the course meal

• Others:

  Please refrain from wearing strong fragrances such as perfume or eau de cologne when visiting, as we may decline your reservation.

  We kindly ask that photography be conducted in a manner that does not disturb other guests.
