Torikaze is the global flagship restaurant that brings to life the vision of Yoshiteru Ikegawa, the renowned chef of the legendary Torishiki, who is dedicated to spreading the culture of yakitori worldwide.

Appointed as the third-generation head chef of Torikaze is Yoshitaka Zeniya, a devoted apprentice of Ikegawa. Mingling his masterpieces in traditional Japanese cuisine with the yakitori course, he meticulously grills each skewer with passion and precision.

At Torikaze, they offer premium yakitori, including Fukushima’s Date Chicken, grilled to perfection using Torishiki’s signature high-heat, close-fire method. Complemented by a selection of seasonal Japanese dishes, the menu showcases the craftsmanship and dedication of chefs.

■ Chef Profile: Yoshitaka Zeniya

Born in Ibaraki Prefecture, Yoshitaka Zeniya began his culinary journey at the age of 23, honing his skills at various Japanese restaurants. Captivated by the art of yakitori, he joined Torishiki ICHIMON to train under the esteemed Yoshiteru Ikegawa.

After refining his craft, he became the second-in-command at Torikaze, and in January 2025, was appointed as its third-generation head chef.

• Arrival time:

  As we have a fixed starting time for all guests, we kindly request that you arrive 5 minutes before your reservation to ensure that your meal begins on time. In the event of a late arrival or early departure, please note that some courses may not be served. To avoid any issues, we recommend allowing ample time to arrive. If you are more than 15 minutes late without prior notice, your reservation will be treated as a cancellation, and a 100% cancellation fee will apply. Thank you for your understanding.
