About GINZA OKUDA
Tucked away in the refined district of Ginza, Tokyo, GINZA OKUDA is a premier kaiseki restaurant where traditional Japanese aesthetics and the finest seasonal ingredients come together in perfect harmony.
Helmed by acclaimed master chef Toru Okuda, the restaurant draws out the natural essence of carefully selected ingredients, crafting dishes of exquisite delicacy that engage all five senses.
Passing through the noren curtain at the entrance reveals a serene and elegant dining room. At the open counter—crafted from 400-year-old cypress—guests can witness the artistry of Chef Eiji Iizuka up close while savoring the beauty of Japanese cuisine.
The beverage selection features approximately 15 kinds of sake, along with Champagne and curated wines from France, Italy, and Japan. Wine pairings are a popular highlight.
The tableware, crafted by distinguished artisans, also plays an essential role in the dining experience—each piece reflecting Japan’s deep reverence for the changing seasons.
In spring, pen shell clam with abundant spring wild vegetables and charcoal-grilled wild sweetfish evoke the freshness of the season. In summer, the expertly grilled giant wild eel leaves a lasting impression. Every dish expresses the fleeting beauty of its season, offering a culinary experience that stirs both body and soul.
