About HOMMAGE
Chef Noboru Arai, a native of Asakusa, brings his modern French cuisine to “HOMMAGE,” blending classical techniques with a tapestry of global culinary influences.
Embracing seasonality and originality, his dishes reflect a deep respect for his roots—expressed through unique creations such as desserts inspired by Asakusa’s beloved local sweets, including “Kaminari-okoshi” and “Ningyo-yaki.”
The name “HOMMAGE” signifies gratitude—for nature’s bounty, dedicated producers, supportive colleagues, and every guest who walks through its doors. With carefully selected ingredients and a pursuit of simplicity layered with depth, the chef continually seeks new expressions through his cuisine.
The atmosphere also embodies the spirit of Asakusa, with a warm welcome from the chef’s wife in a traditional kimono.Come and experience a singular expression of “Asakusa French,” where seasonal ingredients are elevated through Chef Arai’s creative vision and masterful technique.
