In my previous role, when guests made reservations, some of them preferred to be seated close to me and specifically requested it. They affectionately named and referred to this seat as “Okada mae,” signifying the spot right in front of me.

At the counter seats, where I can engage with guests while preparing fresh meat right before their eyes, it was always a joy to receive such requests as a cook. It affirmed the special bond between a cook and guests.

When the time came to open my own place, the name “Okada mae” was an instant choice.

As a chef, it brings me immense happiness to cook for our guests at the 16-seat counter, sharing not just food but moments.

Today, Japan’s pride, the finest wagyu beef, convenes at “Okada mae.” It’s a love story, a dedication of life and passion. We invite you to savor our wagyu dishes and main courses, grilled to perfection using a Spanish oven. For there is energy in delicious food.

  If you have any specific food allergies or ingredients you cannot consume, please inform us in advance. Unfortunately, we cannot accept reservations if there are ingredients that you cannot eat within a wide range.

• Arrival time:

  Please arrive 5 minutes before your reserved time to ensure a timely start of your meal. If you do not contact us and exceed your reservation time, it will be automatically canceled.It will start all at the time of reservation. If you happen to be late or need to leave during your reservation, there is a possibility that we may not be able to serve some parts of the course. Therefore, we kindly ask that you arrive with ample time.

• Dress Code:

  Dress code is smart casual (Please refrain from wearing T-shirts, shorts, and sandals when you visit.)

• Children:

  Guests aged 6 and above, and able to enjoy the course meal.

• Others:
