About Ginza Niku Okazaki
Located in Ginza, "Okazaki" is a Japanese restaurant that masterfully blends the art of Japanese cuisine with the allure of wagyu beef. Chef Mutsumi Okazaki began his culinary journey by learning traditional Japanese techniques at a sushi kappo in Akashi and later pursued the richness of meat at a renowned wagyu restaurant in London. Upon returning to Japan, he further honed his skills at esteemed establishments such as "The INNOCENT CARVERY" in Nishi-Azabu and "Okadamae" in Azabu-Juban, solidifying his reputation as an authority in meat cuisine.
Chef Okazaki’s 45-year career culminates in a seasonal omakase course, featuring only the finest ingredients and carefully crafted flavors. The course showcases premium rice and meat, enhanced by a signature sauce that draws out the full depth of each dish. Guests can savor various cuts of wagyu in diverse forms—skewers, sushi, simmered dishes—culminating in a luxurious full-course meal, complete with dessert.
In the elegantly designed interior, with its black-toned decor, diners can choose between counter and table seating. The counter allows for direct conversation with the chef, while the tables offer a relaxed setting to enjoy the Ginza cityscape, creating a truly refined dining experience.
