About Yakitori Kato
We specialize in grilling carefully selected local poultry, such as the "Toyono Shamo" from Oita Prefecture and the "Matsukaze Jidori" from Sanda, Hyogo Prefecture, using high-quality Kishu Binchotan charcoal.
We also offer a wide selection of wines and Japanese sake that complement the ingredients, including seasonal vegetables and other fresh ingredients.
Our skewers are skillfully prepared in small portions and grilled slowly over charcoal, allowing each part to develop its unique flavor. The tsukune(Japanese chicken meatball) with a hint of Sansho pepper and the sand liver marinated with herb-infused vinegar offer special tastes.
We create seasonal experiences using twists on fresh vegetables, such as adding garlic to summer fruit tomatoes or wrapping winter yam in seaweed for a dish called "Isobe-yaki."
Please enjoy authentic yakitori in a serene ambiance with a wooden-themed decor.

Posted on : 11/01/2023Great counter space with intimate lighting and cozy atmosphere. It is a pleasure to watch the duo work through the dishes and drinks, attentively paying attention to both food and guests. The omakase was great both in quantity and quality. The sake selection was absolutely on point. The wine selection seems interesting with French « vieilles vignes » featured.
Would recommend for an elevated yakitori experience!
