Welcome to Hibinoryori Viola, where everyday dining meets quality.

“Viola” opened in Minami-Azabu in July 2022.

“Viola” was created by Kazuko Goto. She was born to the head of the Mushanokoji Senke family (one of the main schools of tea ceremony) and has a deep knowledge of kaiseki (sophisticated traditional Japanese cuisine). Our space is designed on her belief that “the heart of kaiseki lies in home cooking.”

Deliberate about seasonal ingredients

While these things are important, they are often forgotten in modern households. We express them with courteousness and hospitality.

Passage of the seasons especially looks and sounds beautiful in Japan and its feeling brings joy to us. We hope you can feel these changes in our dishes, plates, and decorations.

• Dietary restrictions / Allergies:

  If you have any specific food allergies or ingredients you cannot consume, please inform us in advance. Unfortunately, we cannot accept reservations if there are ingredients that you cannot eat within a wide range.

• Arrival time:

  Please arrive 5 minutes before your reserved time to ensure a timely start of your meal. If you miss your reservation time by more than 15 minutes without contacting us, your reservation will be automatically canceled.

• Dress Code:

  Dress code is smart casual (Please refrain from wearing T-shirts, shorts, and sandals when you visit.)

• Children:

  Available only at lunchtime. We regret that children cannot be accommodated in the evening.

• Others:

  We kindly ask for your consideration regarding excessive perfume or fabric softener fragrances.
