About Nisishinsaibashi Yuno

Recognizing the true flavors of vegetables and utilizing traditional Osaka vegetables, local produce, as well as rare ingredients sourced from various regions across the country (including seafood from all over Japan and top-quality Japanese beef). We create dishes with flexible works, whether it's a rich and elaborate plate that has been worked on or a clear and minimalist one, each is filled with fresh surprises.

Inherited from a renowned establishment in Hōzenji Temple, the broth used in our soup bowls, which can be considered the protagonist of Japanese cuisine, is one of the dishes we highly recommend.

The building's design, overseen by an expert in traditional sukiya architecture, exudes a charming atmosphere with sliding doors that show the seams of paper as a design, window glass sandwiched with Japanese paper, and earth walls crafted by plasterers from the Omotesenke.

Rare antiques from the Joseon Dynasty, such as spoons and horse equipment, are also on display inside the restaurant. We invite you to enjoy a space that embodies the pleasure of dining.

While the prices were a bit on the higher side, it was definitely worth visiting. It was wonderful to watch the cooking right in front of us. I highly recommend it to anyone considering which Kaiseki restaurant to visit.
