Kaiseki Cuisine “Tominokoji Yamagishi” opened its doors in October 2015 on Tominokoji Street in Kyoto. Our restaurant honors the traditions of Kyoto cuisine while embracing the spirit of cha-kaiseki hospitality, offering dishes that allow guests to savor and reflect on the changing seasons.

We use locally sourced ingredients, such as Kyoto vegetables and river fish, aiming to share the cultural richness and seasonal celebrations of Kyoto through our culinary creations

Beyond the cuisine, we hope to create a truly extraordinary experience that captivates all five senses, inspired by the aesthetics and spirit of the Japanese tea ceremony, flower arrangement, and calligraphy.

  If you have any specific food allergies or ingredients you cannot consume, please inform us in advance. Unfortunately, we cannot accept reservations if there are ingredients that you cannot eat within a wide range.

  Please note that we are unable to make changes to the broth (dashi). Therefore, we may have to decline reservations if you have any ingredients you cannot eat.

• Arrival time:

  Please arrive 5 minutes before your reserved time to ensure a timely start of your meal. If you do not contact us and exceed your reservation time, it will be automatically canceled.

• Dress Code:

  Dress code is smart casual (Please refrain from wearing T-shirts, shorts, and sandals when you visit.)

• Children:

  Only those who can enjoy the same course as adults are allowed.

• Others:

  We kindly ask for your consideration regarding excessive perfume or fabric softener fragrances.
