About SUSHI SHIOGAMAKOU GINZA KIWAMI
Shiogama Port in Miyagi Prefecture is renowned for producing some of Japan’s finest bluefin tuna. Among these, we handle only bluefin landed at Shiogama itself.
What truly sets us apart is that we purchase entire tuna—the whole fish. This allows us to offer not only prized cuts such as otoro (premium fatty tuna) and chutoro (medium fatty tuna), but also rare parts that seldom appear on the market. Each cut reveals its own character: the quality of the fat, the depth of umami, the texture on the palate. With every piece, you can savor a different expression of bluefin tuna at its very best.
Our commitment extends beyond tuna. We source carefully live‑slaughtered whitefish, as well as select shellfish and rare species from across Tohoku. Encounters with fish landed on the very same day are truly once‑in‑a‑lifetime moments. We deliver the seasonal bounty of Tohoku’s rich seas in its optimal state.
The stage is Ginza—one of Japan’s most iconic districts. Located on the 12th floor, the restaurant offers a special setting with sweeping views through large windows. In the evening, you can enjoy the essence of Japanese culture—sushi—against the glittering nightscape of Ginza.
Experience nigiri sushi shaped with masterful craftsmanship, seasonal dishes that reflect the shifting landscape of the year, and hospitality offered with genuine care.
This is more than a meal. It is a moment to immerse yourself in Japan’s seas, Japan’s techniques, and Japan’s aesthetic sensibility with all five senses.
We promise a memorable experience found only at SUSHI SHIOGAMAKOU GINZA KIWAMI.
In Ginza, savor authentic bluefin tuna—at its purest and most exceptional.
