Landon S.4.7Posted on :04/23/2025Lature was a delightful experience and well worth a visit when in Tokyo. They were respectful of food allergies and preferences and created a varied and visually appealing array of dishes. The dill and basil emulsions added both visual impact and punches of flavor. We enjoyed the creativity of several dish presentations and flavor combinations. Our favorite was probably the smoked trout with kiwi, which was garnished with thin, perfect circles of wasabi leaves and daikon. They had a small wine list, with emphasis on French wines. Service was attentive, and they made the most of their very cosy space, both on the floor and in the open kitchen. It was a treat to watch the kitchen work calmly and professionally.

Adom4.7Posted on :12/17/2024Except for staff saying about our fish, "It's expensive", an unthinkable thing to be told while trying to enjoy lunch (and doubly so in "sensitive everything Japan"), it was an incredible dining experience. A person of impeccable English vocabulary, they either lacked proper consideration for guest experience or were operating with a sense of decorum I failed to recognize as respectful to the moment or the chef's deeper intent.
