We came here for a gathering, and the food was absolutely fantastic—definitely deserving of one Michelin star or more! One of the best parts was how light and veggie-forward the dishes were, which was perfect after a long day of traveling around Tokyo (and snacking along the way).

The owner was incredibly friendly toward us as Taiwanese visitors and could even speak a bit of Taiwanese, which made us feel right at home. The staff, dressed in traditional Japanese kimonos, were very welcoming and provided warm, attentive service.

We were seated in a room with a beautiful view of a traditional Japanese garden, which made the meal even more special. Moreover, a raccoon even paid a surprise visit to the garden during our dinner!

It was truly a wonderful experience. We’ll definitely come back again!

The place is like an oasis in the big city . It’s hard to imagine how they could find such variety of vegetables and cooked with different Japanese cooking techniques. As a city people , it’s good to refresh our body with such a excellent Shojin Ryoki

Both the food and services are fantastic. Foreigner friendly and kid friendly. Probably the best vegetarian restaurant I have ever been to.

Private room dining with a view of the garden was a phenominal experience. It provided an escape from the bustling city.

Food was superb from the knife skills to ability to create harmony with all the ingridents. We were impressed at how well the chestnut shell that was made from potatoes was prepared. Delicious and fun. Each dish help to revitalized our bodies from the exhaustion we incurred on our trip.

Having tried Shojin Ryori before, Daigo maybe our favorite. The calibur of flavors were elevated. Thank you again for your cooking, hospitaility and kindness.

Daigo is an exceptional gastronomic kaiseki experience! Chef Nomura and his staff give warm and friendly service that is sure to delight. The food is memorable and satisfying even if you’re not a vegetarian. Would definitely come back again! Hoping for the restaurant’s continued success! ありがとうございました♪

This was probably the best vegetarian meal I ever had. But not only was the food outstanding in flavour as well as in presentation, the service was superb, too. The staff is very friendly and helpful and speaks excellent English. One of them even spoke a little German. This was truly an evening to be remembered for a long time!
