About Ginza Adachi Naoto
Located on Mibun-dori Street in the heart of Tokyo's gourmet district, Ginza, just a short distance from Ginza Station and Yurakucho Station, is a Japanese restaurant called "Ginza Adachi Naoto."
The owner, Naoto Adachi, who trained at renowned traditional Japanese restaurants such as Kanda's long-established Kappo Fujimura and Akasaka's Kikumi, opened his own restaurant under his name, "Adachi Naoto," in November 2013. It quickly became popular and has maintained a one Michelin star rating for six consecutive years since 2015.
With the belief of wanting people to enjoy the taste of a traditional Japanese restaurant in a more casual setting, Adachi meticulously crafts dishes using seasonal ingredients, offering both course menus designed by the chef and the option to order à la carte, which is not often available at popular restaurants. However, please note that ordering à la carte is limited to after 8:30 PM.
Adachi carefully selects high-quality ingredients that are not limited to specific regions or brands, such as freshwater eel from Kumamoto and vegetables directly delivered from contracted farms in Yamagata. While all the dishes are exquisite, the soup dishes that allow you to fully appreciate the goodness of seasonal fish and the simmered dishes that enhance the flavors of seasonal vegetables are particularly exceptional, perfectly expressing the essence of Japanese cuisine that the chef aims for.
Japanese sake is highly recommended as a beverage, with 7 to 9 different varieties available at all times, including rare brands. They also offer a selection of wines from around the world.
The interior of the restaurant consists of a counter with 6 seats and two tables accommodating 4 guests each, making it suitable for both business and private occasions. English menus are also available, attracting many international guests.
Adachi's calm and amiable personality adds to the charm of the restaurant, which is a hidden gem in Ginza that values hospitality and attentiveness.

Posted on : 10/04/2024A bit tough to communicate with the server, and when dining omokase sometimes it’s good to be able to have the chef describe the dish to you. However the food spoke for itself and with the help of a little google translate we got through a wonderfully delicious dinner. You can tell the chef loves what he does. The restaurant itself is tiny with two tables and a bar. Memorable dishes were the eel with glutinous rice, the eggplant was also amazing, tempura and soba all were delicious. The fresh sashimi with a finger lime and salt were also scrumptious. The menu was well thought out and paced.Leslie
Posted on : 11/16/2023Amazing! Best meal I've ever had. The smoked barracuda soup was my favorite, but every course was truly delicious. We were lucky to be seated at the counter where we could watch the chef work his magic. Chef and servers were friendly and professional. Thank you!
