Alternative offers a concept of a family restaurant for adults, serving dishes from around the world based on French cuisine. Enjoy Chef Saito’s worldview to the fullest in this unconstrained and free-spirited establishment, aiming to be an “entertaining” place for our customers.

We provide the unique “Saito cuisine,” which incorporates the essence of Japanese and Chinese dishes into the foundation of French culinary techniques.

The chef, who discovered the freedom of French cuisine during his time in France, named the restaurant Alternative to create new value. The space, once an old town factory, also showcases its unique character.

  If you have any specific food allergies or ingredients you cannot consume, please inform us in advance. Unfortunately, we cannot accept reservations if there are ingredients that you cannot eat within a wide range.

• Arrival time:

  Please arrive 5 minutes before your reserved time to ensure a timely start of your meal. If you do not contact us and exceed your reservation time, it will be automatically canceled.

• Dress Code:

  Dress code is smart casual (Please refrain from wearing T-shirts, shorts, and sandals when you visit.)

• Children:

  We also offer a children’s menu. If you would like to request it, please indicate this in the remarks section when making your reservation (payment will be on site).

• Others:

  We kindly ask for your consideration regarding excessive perfume or fabric softener fragrances.
