Located on Mishuku Street between Ikejiri‑Ōhashi and Sangenjaya, CREATERNA is a French restaurant led by Chef Tsuneyuki Suwa. He has honed his skills at world-renowned restaurants such as Le Petit Nice in France, Maaemo in Norway, and Disfrutar and El Celler de Can Roca in Spain, and later served as head chef at the two-Michelin-starred grand maison Sant Pau in Tokyo. After learning the foundations of Western cuisine in Tokyo and gaining extensive experience in Europe on three separate occasions, he creates inventive courses that transcend traditional boundaries.

His dishes are designed not only to delight the palate but also to engage the eyes and evoke memory, with each plate offering its own distinct sense of surprise and progression. To complement the cuisine, the restaurant offers sparkling wine, Champagne, and a selection of white and red wines.

The restaurant’s name is a coined word combining the Latin terms for “creation” and “eternity,” expressing its commitment to continual creativity. The tranquil, refined interior—anchored in white and natural wood tones—balances sophistication with warmth, creating a space that encourages guests to focus on the food and conversation.

  Please note that requests made after your arrival may not be accommodated, as they may affect the timely service for other guests. In such cases, we may respond by omitting the relevant ingredients or adjusting the number of dishes. If you have severe allergies or multiple dietary restrictions, an additional charge may apply, or we may have to decline your reservation to ensure your safety.

• Arrival time:

  Please arrive 5 minutes before your reserved time to ensure a timely start of your meal. If you do not contact us and exceed your reservation time, it will be automatically canceled.

  Dishes are served in coordination with other guests arriving at a similar time. Please note that if you arrive later than your reserved time, the number of courses may be adjusted.

• Dress Code:

  Dress code is smart casual (We kindly request that guests refrain from visiting in excessively casual attire, such as T-shirts, tank tops, shorts, or sandals.)

• Children:

  Guests aged 6 and above, and able to enjoy the course meal.

• Others:

  We kindly ask for your consideration regarding excessive perfume or fabric softener fragrances.

  Lunch service is expected to take approximately 1–2 hours, and dinner service about 1.5–2.5 hours. If you have any time constraints, please indicate this in the special requests section when making your reservation. Please note that, in order to avoid affecting service for other guests, we may not be able to accommodate requests to expedite service for specific parties.
